Default The ride(s)

I haven't been in an F-car in many years, but I still like to play!

My DD car:

2011 Taurus SHO. I've only had it since April of this year. So far, nothing done to it, other than a 91-octane tune by Unleashed Tuning.

The JEEPASAUR:

2004 WJ. 4.7L H.O., 4" lift with OME springs and Bilstein 5100 shocks, Moog Super Trail Boss steering stabilizer, JK wheels w/ Cooper Discover ST MAXX 32's.
It sucks fuel, but never lets me down. Surprisingly, it's been the most reliable vehicle that I've ever owned, despite the fact that I've beaten the piss out of it offroading in the outer banks and up in the mountains.

Shogun? Really dude? Haha, that's funny.

Looks good man. I like the jeep. Got any pics of your off road adventures?

I'm the Shogun of Chesapeake

Here's some offroading pics:

Bone stock, offroading in Centralia, PA (google Centralia, PA!)

Playing in the mud out at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown:

Said mud swallowing the Jeep on another occasion (the only time I've ever gotten outright stuck)

The aftermath:

Rescuing my buddy's Wrangler in the Outer Banks:

Being a dick, and doing circles in the water that he got stuck in:

On Mt. Rogers, in SW VA:

In Richmond last year, during the blizzard that hit there.

If it snows, I'm pretty much always out playing in it.
If you've got a 4x4, I highly recommend the Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX tires. They ride like a tank, but they have been amazing off road tires, and they're damn near impossible to puncture on rocks.

A pic from inside the SHO. Normally it's not a view anyone ever wants to see, but I was playing the part of "offender" for recruits who were learning how to do traffic stops.

The work car (aka the Hooptie). '06 Impala, 116k miles. Honk if parts fall off.

Good to see you are still around Will. I haven't owned an F-body in 5.5 years. Steve has enough for all of us.

I could use those tires right now. 10 inches of snow in the last 48 hours.

If Michigan wasn't so damn far away, I'd probably drive up there and play in it!

Surviving life... just plugging along. Might have a finished car one of these years.
