Default New addition to the family...

And, reunited... my father used to own both of these cars.

Nice dude. Much better than I originally thought. Can't wait to see it in person.

Eventually, other things to finish first. But, the deal happened and I had a limited window of opportunity. My dad owned this car back in 07' briefly, I have been trying to buy it back for a few years now. It's a fairly easy fix, lots of useable parts, and a factory 4 speed/12 bolt posi car. For now, it's going to sit. I may clean and gather parts here and there. But, it will most likely be at least a year before I really tear into it.

Nothing new to report other than random people attempting to get me to "sell it to them cheap."

I picked up a flat hood about four weeks ago. Haven't done anything else to it, it's on the back burner still.

I stumbled across a deal on a 72' 402 that I couldn't refuse. Running engine, intake to oil pan for $500. In excellent shape, not a worn out POS. I am going to stick it in the car to get it running. I have a bunch of crap laying around, should be able to make it a runner for around $1K total.

Pictures to follow, picking it up after work tomorrow...

Got it home, took the pan off and checked casting #s. Nodular cast crank, but closed chamber 66'-67' heads. (98.4cc) No casting # on the intake, might be some on the underside. Going to pop the intake manifold and heads off to get a better look. Plus I will feel better with fresh gaskets.
